Rice 'Albufera' by La PerlaDO Arroz de Valencia

The ‘Albufera’ rice is one of the latest varieties protected under the Designation of Origin Rice of Valencia (Spain).

It is a pearly round rice, with attributes of both the Bomba and Senia varieties. From the first variety, it obtains its excellent capacity to absorb stock, and from the second, its great resistance to over-cooking, resulting in a loose rice with a smooth and creamy texture.

This rice is excellent for preparing Paellas and other typical Valencian dishes.
